Events in Varese for Fai Spring Days

As promised, we update the program of events in specific FAI Properties in Varese during the FAI Spring Days on 21st-22nd March 2015.

VILLA DELLA PORTA BOZZOLO – VIALE CAMILLO BOZZOLO 5, CASALZUIGNO (VA)

Aperitif at Villa and costumed guided tour
Saturday, March 21, for the special occasion of the FAI Spring Days, Villa Della Porta Bozzolo prolong opening hours. Visitors can enjoy an aperitif with Villa gastronomic specialties of the territory, organized by restaurant “La Cucina di Casa”.
Guests will have the opportunity to visit the villa following a musical path that will accompany them within the salons. Whoever wants to can round off the evening with a guided tour in costume to the halls of the Villa. All the magic of night lighting, atmosphere that visitatri of Villa Della Porta Bozzolo can live exclusively for the first time.

VILLA E COLLEZIONE PANZA – PIAZZA LITTA 1, VARESE

Fluo party and spring selfie!
Sunday 22nd March extraordinary visit to the wing of the Rustic Villa. Dress code: strictly white clothes.
Guests of Villa Panza you will color so thanks Dan Flavin installations and will enjoy the works of Robert Irwin and James Turrell at sunset.
At mid-term, in Ultraviolet of Flavin, you can achieve a fluo selfie according to the rules for a perfect self timer, to share with YOU on all social networks.
The tour continues in the spectacular Turrell’s Ganzfeld (until exhaustion posts) to end, if you will, to the restaurant Luce for appetizer.

Meeting in Varese, railway station
Visit to Villa Bossi, Bodio Lomnago (VA), Isolino Virginia, Biandronno (VA), Park Morselli and Casina Rosa, Gavirate (VA)
Easy, flat path except the short stretch to reach villa Morselli and ascent from Schiranna in Varese. Ability to shorten and facilitate the trip with return from Gavirate to Varese by train.

Sunday 22nd, 9.00 a.m., up to 40 km

Meeting at Varese train station. Transfer by train to Saronno. From Saronno railway station hours 10.00.
Visit Cantù (CO) – Cantù and design: Bruno Munari and collections Artidesign
Medium-difficulty route, partly on back roads and with strokes on the busy provincial but with wide roadway. Return with minor undulations and almost everything slightly downhill.
